Because Ocracoke Island is only accessible by boat or plane, marinas are a given here. We have several options to choose from depending on boat size and what you’re looking to do during your time on the island.

Located near the entrance of Silver Lake Harbor, the Anchorage Inn and Marina has deep water docking available for vessels up to 100 feet in length with slips available for smaller boats, too. They offer daily, monthly, or yearly dockage and an onsite boat ramp. The Anchorage Marina provides docking with a healthy dose of island adventure. This is the place to go for parasailing, fishing charters, boat rentals, and trips to uninhabited Portsmouth Island.

For no-frills docking, the National Park Service offers 15 fixed dock slips for vessels up to 60 feet. There are no refueling or repair options here, and no Jet Skis.
