Step inside Ocracoke’s past with a special Historic Home Tour featuring four unique homes along Lighthouse Road in the island’s nationally recognized Historic District. This is the first home tour since Hurricane Dorian in 2019, offering a rare glimpse into the island’s architectural charm and community heritage.
The tour culminates at 4:30 p.m. with a first look at the newly renovated Island Inn, one of Ocracoke’s most storied buildings. Built in 1901 and restored through community efforts, the Inn has served many roles—from a school and Navy club to a hotel and coffee shop. Local island elders will share its rich history during this special preview.
🎟 Tickets are $50 and limited—advance purchase is highly recommended.
