DESCRIPTION:Step inside Ocracoke’s past with a special Historic Home Tour featuring four unique homes along Lighthouse Road in the island’s nationally recognized Historic District. This is the first home tour since Hurricane Dorian in 2019\, offering a rare glimpse into the island’s architectural charm and community heritage.\n\nThe tour culminates at 4:30 p.m. with a first look at the newly renovated Island Inn\, one of Ocracoke’s most storied buildings. Built in 1901 and restored through community efforts\, the Inn has served many roles—from a school and Navy club to a hotel and coffee shop.
