One of Ocracoke’s biggest community gatherings, the Firemen’s Ball pairs good food, good music, and good company—all in support of the Ocracoke Volunteer Fire Department. The evening begins with a barbecue dinner, followed by raffles, live and silent auctions, and live music that fills the night with dancing and celebration. 2026 marks the event’s 20th anniversary, making it an especially meaningful year to support the island’s firefighters.
